Celebrate the Life of Professor Plass

Hi my name is Daniella Capote. I am a former student of Professor Plass. We recently learned of his devastating loss and have been thinking of what we can do to honor his memory. Professor Plass taught his law students dutifully and faithfully for over 30 years. He was a brilliant scholar and passionate professor.

It has now come time for us to honor his memory and celebrate his life. With the blessing of his family, we are organizing a Celebration of Life to hold space for his students and former students to gather together in community for Professor Plass.

We are raising funds to organize the Celebration of Life for Professor Plass. At this time, we are looking at venue options and tentative dates. We are looking at dates at the end of August or beginning of September to give students and former students time to make work and travel arrangements if necessary. We want to give all students and former students the opportunity to join us.

The family also expressed that all the beautiful messages they have received from Plass' students has given them strength and joy during this difficult time. We are compiling letters from students and former students to give to the family. Please submit your memories, your best stories, and the impact Professor Plass had on you to the gmail account in the Contact information.

Funds raised will be used to pay for the venue. Any left over funds that are not used to secure the venue will be given to the family for them to do as they wish.
