I’m Tyler Westergren, Son-in-Law to Michelle L Gray and husband to her Daughter Ramona Westergren. On November 25th around Noon Michelle was taken from us without any warning. Around 9:30 pm on Tuesday the 24th Michelle fell over and lost consciousness. She eventually woke up and complained of a horrible headache and could not feel or move her legs. Her Husband Dick “Richard” Gray was with her and helped to comfort her until the paramedics arrived. While being transported in the ambulance she was having a hard time breathing on her own and had to be intubated. Upon arrival at the hospital, a CT scan was conducted to determine the degree and location of the injury. It was determined to be a brain bleed but pressure in the brain made imaging complicated, and then came the hardest part, waiting. Waiting to see if the pressure would come down in order to properly see the capacity of the injury. The morning of the 25th a final CT was performed as well as other Brain activity scans to determine whether there was any activity. It was determined that there was no blood flowing into the brain and in turn no brain activity. After many tests to confirm, the fight was over, she was gone. Gone but never forgotten.
It is so hard to imagine a world without her bright personality and ever-loving heart. Our lives will never be the same because of the individual impact Michelle made on each one of us. She cherished everyone and loved loudly. She was here one minute smiling, laughing, joking, and being unapologetically herself; and the next gone. She is survived by her Husband, Parents, Siblings, and both Children.
Michelle has always been adamant about being cremated rather than a traditional burial. We know that she would want her family, friends, and close people to see her one last time. We will be planning a public viewing prior to her cremation.
Due to the rather unexpected passing of Michelle, I am establishing a GoFundMe fundraiser to help Ramona and her Brother Harold handle the cost of the cremation and memorial as well as any left over medical expenses. We are asking our family and friends to come together during this trying time. Thank you so much to everyone who can give, and absolutely anything helps. God Bless.
