Celebrate the Life of Michael D. Ortega

I'm Vianna Ortega, proud Wife of Michael D. Ortega reg# 36843. He passed away suddenly with no warning, way too soon. He was young inside and out and full of life. I'm raising funds for his memorial/funeral. He was the most charismatic, humorous, talented, and intelligent man I've ever known. Besides being a professional percussion artist and drummer, he was born and raised in San Pedro, CA. He acted in shows and movies but was a merchant marine and went to work for the ILWU. I would just like to say, being a wife of a longshoreman, I worried a lot. He truly had one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. When COVID broke out, everyone was urged to stay home and not work. Michael went to work. He knew stores needed to be stocked, and people needed supplies. Longshoremen play a vital role in our American economy. He was so very brave and selfless. The job was dangerous every single day, but especially during that time, I was releived each time he got off work and walked through our door the job is that dangerous. He loved everybody that he worked with And held them in high regard. He was truly my hero every day. Now he's my

strongest guarding Angel.

He was not working because he was feeling ill due to health issues. I was mis guided by the authorities that came. Being in shock I was rushed and not given proper treatment. Breakdown of cost. Transportation fees, Personal autopsy since the state did not provide one. Cremation/burial fees, memorial/ funeral expenses, Other expenses. I am a stay at hime wife Michael was a night worker and wanted me there . Its been so hard all overwhelming. Since I thought I would have him easily another 20 years. I miss him every day. The only support I've received is from my wonderful sister's Marilyn and Kimberly. They have shown me true moral support and loved Michael. I do appreciate all donations and will keep you all in high regard. I know you all knew and appreciated Mikey How could you not Love, MIKEY !
