Honor Michael Bean by helping his family
Donation protected
Michael Bean passed on October 21, 2021, after a stroke. He was well cared for by a team of the most kind and gentle doctors and nurses, with his wife and daughter at his side.
Michael and Michelle owned Legends Billiards Room, Catfish Lou's Blues Club, and The Back Room Event Center. For the past several years, Michelle and Michael have supported both the billiards and blues community in Portland and beyond. It is now time to give back. There are expenses related to hospital bills and funeral expenses that aren’t covered by insurance.
Michael was an Army veteran, a police officer, a pilot, a programmer, a forensics expert, and an entrepreneur. But the titles he most cherished were Dad and Husband. His wife Michelle, his daughter Morgan, his son Matthew, all worked alongside him at Legends and Catfish Lou’s, so he could keep his family close to him and spend as much time together as possible. The legacy that they’ve built together with Legends Billiard Room and Catfish Lou’s will continue, in his honor.
A Celebration of Life will be held January 22, 2022 at Catfish Lou's & Legends Billiard Room. Details will be added here and on their Facebook pages and websites.
Please help our dear friend and her family.
In Michelle's words:
Michael lived passionately. He had only one speed and it was full-throttle.
He was adventurous and tough and smart and funny.
His love for his family was fierce.
We appreciate your support and prayers.
