We are heartbroken to share that our beloved brother Marcus “Twiz” Johnson passed away at home on Friday, November 14th. His unexpected loss has left an unimaginable emptiness in the lives of all who knew him, loved him and considered him family. Someone said “One thing he made sure of was that if he loved you, he made sure you knew that and felt that.” Marcus was solid - one of the most present, caring and generous friends who ALWAYS showed up for his loved ones. As we work together to properly honor his life and give him the beautiful homegoing celebration he deserves, and find a permanent way to memorialize him, we are asking for support from our community.

This GoFundMe has been created to help cover funeral and homegoing service expenses, as well as to provide financial support for his parents during this incredibly difficult time. The suddenness of his passing has placed an unexpected financial burden on those closest to him, and any contribution—no matter how big or small—will make a meaningful difference.
