It is with a heavy heart that we share the loss of Joe David "Joey" Hunley. Joey died early Sunday morning in Oakland, CA. Joey was father to three beautiful girls, Willow, Nova and Madeline and bonus father to Jonah, whom he loved greatly. He was also a proud uncle to Lars, David, Zoe, Amelia and Alivia.

In his spare time, Joey loved to ride motorcycles, dirt bikes and working with his hands. He was proud of his profession as a Union Rigger. Joey could always be found tinkering with a project, even turning his bedroom in to a workshop. He loved to laugh, often cracking quiet, witty jokes amusing those around him. Aside from his children, Joey had a few great loves in his lifetime, his former wife Andrea and Madeline's mother Sarah, who proceeded him in death last year. Joey kept his friends close and told those he loved how he felt often. He will be missed greatly. Information regarding services will follow.
