Celebrate the life of Christopher A. Velasquez

We are trying to raise money to help with funeral proceedings as soon as possible  for my son Christopher Alexander Velasquez who passed away today due to
mental health illness.  He was my one and only son.  I had him when I was 19yrs
old, he basically grew up with me. He was my role dog. He was so caring, had a
beautiful soul, lifted me up when I was down, he was my sunshine and light out of many dark times.  He gave me strength and a reason to wake up everyday and
push and strive to be the best mother and person I can be. He was a loving, funny, and perfect father to his 4yr old autistic daughter.  She will need lots of extra love and attention!  We have all struggled at one time or another with some type of
mental illness!  But only some of us are strong enough to overcome it and beat it. Mental illness is a disease and many of us suffer from it but are too prideful or
embarrassed to seek treatment.  Unfortunately, he has chosen to leave this world and leave us behind for reasons we will never understand.  It saddens my heart and my soul to lose such a beautiful soul to such a nasty disease.  If you knew my son you laughed, and your world was brighter with just his smile!!!!  The remaining
proceeds raised will go into an account for my granddaughter Abigail  for her

Rest In Peace my sweet boy, mommy will always know the way because your light has shined before me as you walk with God. Thank you for 25yrs of a brighter life because you were in it.  
I know you are being called for a bigger purpose and called has called you to stand in the front lines of what's to come in the world we live in.  I pray for all the souls
in this world and that we stand together as one despite color, race, and religion.
Until we see you again son!! And we will!  We will fight to the end!
