If I died today, I would have no regrets.
I loved deeply. I met my husband, the love of my life, nearly 25 years ago. It was love at first sight. We’ve built an incredible life together, full of joy, love, adventure, and unconditional support for one another.
I got to be a mom to two incredible boys. Motherhood is the most precious gift I have ever received. To love so fully and completely, and to be loved unconditionally, is the most precious gift. The quote that keeps ringing in my mind is: “To the world you may be one person; but to one person you may be the world.”
My life was full of adventure. I took risks. I lived in three different countries and five different states. I took leaps without the safety net, learning to trust myself. Every place I lived left me with incredible memories and great friends.
I chased my dreams. I had a purpose-led career and worked on making the world better in the best way I could.
I made great friends along the way. This became especially clear when so many people showed up to support me in ways big and small in the last few months. I cherish these friendships so deeply.
I made an impact. So many people from every corner of the world reached out and told me about the difference I made in their lives. It warms my heart to know my life and work mattered.
The final judgement may not be up to me, but if today was the day I died, I would have no regrets.
