It is with broken hearts that we write this message to friends and family. Unfortunately, Summer Mora, our “Summa” or “baby chango” passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024. This happened after we celebrated her 18th birthday where we were able to witness her happiness through singing, dancing, and even being serenaded. We were fortunate enough to have created that beautiful memory before she was called up to heaven. Summer passed away in her home in a house full of love, surrounded by some of the people that loved her the most. Summer experienced epileptic seizures throughout her life, but she never allowed that to get in the way of her goals and dreams. She was strong-willed and determined. From a young age, Summer excelled in any sport she attempted from t-ball to karate to track and for the last few years, volleyball. Summer’s personality allowed her to be successful in all fields of her life from sports to graduating with honors from Sunnyslope High School.
Summer was a daughter, a sister, a niece, a granddaughter, and a cousin that will be missed greatly by all her friends and family. She was loved unconditionally and will never be forgotten. She will forever be 18 and live in our hearts and souls as the loving and caring young woman she was.
Our family is putting this message out in an attempt to give Summer the best services we can provide and say our goodbyes so she feels our love all the way to heaven. We thank you in advance for any contribution.
Summer’s services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Lawn Mortuary and Cemetery located at 719 N 27th Ave Phoenix, AZ 85009 on 08/23/2024.
Viewing will be from 9:30-11:00 AM. Services will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will be at 12:00 PM.
