Celebrate SLU Men's Basketball Accomplishments

To all Parents, Alumni and Friends of St Lawrence University Basketball:

Last season, the men’s basketball team, a group of 16 determined young men, went on an amazing run that concluded in winning the Liberty League Championship on February 26, 2023.

This was the first Liberty League Championship in 13 years for St. Lawrence Men’s Basketball and earned the team a spot in the D3 NCAA Tournament.

The road to victory, which included winning their last six games, culminated in an amazing overtime win, over rival Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, in front of a “RED OUT” Burkman Gymnasium.

Along the way, multiple players were recognized for their athletic and academic achievements, including five named 2022-23 Liberty League Winter All-Academic Team student-athletes.

We would like to recognize the dedication of this intrepid group (along with the coaches and staff) for this outstanding accomplishment!

Our goal is to purchase championship rings (see picture below) for the entire group (21 in total). If we achieve our goal of $4,000.00, we can purchase rings for all and provide them a well deserved memento.
