After being engaged for four years, Silva and Zardasht are finally ready to take the next step and begin their life together in marriage. They have hoped and prayed for this day for a long time, but circumstances outside of their control have continued to delay their wedding.

Silva and Zardasht have both carried significant responsibilities from a very young age. As the oldest children in their families, they began working early to help provide for those they love, carrying responsibilities that most children never have to think about. Later, they were forced to leave their homes as refugees and begin again, bringing even more challenges and uncertainty.

Through all of this, they have continued to put others before themselves. Zardasht works hard every day to provide for his family and make ends meet, while Silva has spent years generously giving her time, energy, and resources to care for the people around her.

I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside Silva and getting to know her over the past year. She has poured so much into the people around her, and now we have an opportunity to pour back into her.

After spending time apart and living in different countries, Silva and Zardasht are finally back together in the same country. After four years of waiting, sacrificing, and trusting God with their future, they feel that the time has finally come to build a home and life together.

Our goal is to help provide the resources they need for their wedding and to help them get established in a home of their own as they begin this new chapter.

This fundraiser is about more than a wedding. It’s about celebrating two people who have spent much of their lives putting others first and helping them finally begin this long-awaited season of life together.
