Celebrate Shaun's Legacy with a Bench

Help Honor Shaun Werle with a Memorial Bench at the Lacrosse Fields

We are coming together as a lacrosse community to honor the life and legacy of Shaun Werle—a beloved coach, official, and founder of our local lacrosse club. Shaun dedicated countless hours to mentoring young athletes, growing the game, and building a strong, supportive community around the sport he loved.

To commemorate his lasting impact, we are raising funds to install a memorial bench at the lacrosse fields where Shaun spent so much of his time. This bench will serve as a place for reflection, remembrance, and inspiration for players, families, and friends for years to come.

Shaun’s passion for lacrosse went far beyond the field. He was a mentor, a leader, and a friend to many. Whether coaching from the sidelines, officiating with integrity, or organizing club events, Shaun gave his heart to the game and to the people in it.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to cover the cost of the bench, installation, and a commemorative plaque in Shaun’s honor. Any additional funds will be donated to support youth lacrosse programs in the area—continuing Shaun’s mission of making the sport accessible and meaningful for all.
