I am creating this GoFundMe in loving memory of my cousin Sandy, who dedicated her life to learning, literacy, and service as a librarian. Sandy believed deeply in the power of books to spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of reading—especially for young learners.

To honor her legacy, we are raising funds for West Elementary in Mt. Juliet, where her granddaughters attend school. The school library hopes to purchase forward-facing Demco book bins, which make books more visible, accessible, and inviting for students. These bins encourage independent reading and exploration—values Sandy championed throughout her life.

This fundraiser is a meaningful way to celebrate Sandy’s passion and ensure her love for books continues to impact future generations. I was blessed to share February 20th as a birthday with her, and we will conclude this campaign on that day in her honor. We sincerely appreciate your support.
