Hi, my name is Jason Torres and I'm new to the GoFundMe thing but thought it would be a good idea and a way for those who knew and loved Samantha Faye Knowles to show they care and miss her deeply.

Samantha was my soulmate, my best friend, and I had plans on making her my wife officially this coming fall. I was in the process of planning a bike trip to the mountains to see the turning of the leaves and propose to her then, but God has other plans and HIS divine wisdom is what I must have faith in!

She loved and wanted to be loved. Her love and light would brighten up even the blackest of rooms, and her love could thaw the coldest of hearts. She had a love for the Native American culture, ways, and traditions, and this is why I'm starting this GoFundMe to sponsor a women's jingle dance special at our upcoming Coharie intertribal powwow in Clinton, NC. All of the proceeds will go to this special for the jingle dancers' healing, specialty travel, and food.
