With heavy hearts, we share that Rockne “Rocky” Knuth passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, at the age of 84.

Rocky was a beloved husband, father, friend, artist, and outdoorsman. He lived a full life rooted in curiosity, creativity, kindness, and connection. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love.

We’re coming together to honor the life of Rockne “Rocky” Knuth, a man who filled our lives with, love, laughter, kindness, and a deep love for the natural world. Instead of a somber memorial, we’re planning a Remembrance Gathering the way Rocky wanted: a life honoring ceremony for family & friends to share memories, laughter, and a meal.

We hope to host a backyard-style BBQ—something relaxed and heartfelt—where we can share memories, swap stories, and raise a toast to a life well lived.

We’re raising funds to help cover the cost of:

*Catering

*Venue rental and setup

*Tables, chairs, and other gathering essentials

*Travel expenses for family

*A few personal touches to make the day truly feel like Rocky

Any remaining funds after the memorial will be donated to Free Arts (freeartsaz.org), an organization that helps children who have experienced trauma heal through art therapy — a cause deeply meaningful to Rockne
