Celebrate Richard 'Peanut' Lewis Jr.'s Life: Burial Fund

Hi family and friends, Richina here
I want to take a moment to share a bit about our dad, Richard “Peanut” Lewis Jr. He was kind-hearted, caring, and supportive—a truly amazing father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was the kind of person who was a friend to all his neighbors, always ready to lend a hand without expecting anything in return. Love guided his actions, and he maintained his character through everything life threw at him. When he did get a little upset, he was quick to make amends and never hesitated to say he was sorry.
Within our family, he was famous for his adventurous cooking experiments, often mixing the most unusual pairings, like red beans and rice with spaghetti, adding loads of pepper, and diving in. He had his charming quirks too—his collection of caps and beanies, rubber bands around his wrists, pockets stuffed with tissue, a pencil always tucked behind his ear, and an eye for unique treasures he loved to share with us. Our dad was a big fan of sci-fi, enjoying shows like Star Trek, Andromeda, The X-Files, and Doctor Who. He was a hard worker, always busy tinkering with cars, doing carpentry, or fixing things around people's houses.
Being around him was always a delight. We will truly miss his easy-going nature, quick wit, radiant smile, and heartfelt affection, not to mention those incredible dance moves! He adored the Lord and lived his life aiming to follow Him in all aspects. He was always ready to pray or offer a kind word, loving rebuke, and Godly counsel.
With that in mind, if you’re able and willing, we would appreciate any help you can provide with his burial expenses. Thank you all so much! As my dad would say, “Jesus Christ loves you, and I love you too.”
