Celebrate Paul Hulse's Life: Funeral Fund
Donation protected
As many of you already know, in August of 2024, our dad, Paul Hulse, was diagnosed with advanced-stage small cell lung cancer. Without treatment, they estimated he would have 3-6 months, and with treatment, maybe a year. He decided to skip the treatment, retire, and focus on spending as much "not sick" time with family and friends as possible. Through an outpouring of love and help from our friends, family, and community, we have all been able to enjoy that time with our Dad without worrying about his bills and expenses.
It's been 6 months, and we've still got him! Not a day goes by that we don't thank God to still have precious moments with our Dad. Unfortunately, the reality is that we need to be prepared for an inevitable funeral in the upcoming future. Only God knows how much time we have left with him, and we will cherish every second of it.
Dad is a Vietnam-era Veteran with the US Navy. He served as a hospital corpsman, helping his fellow brothers in arms. Unfortunately, the VA is a broken system which does not help our current situation. He is a man of faith, family, and laughter. If you know him personally, you already know this. He loves nothing more than a good laugh!
I know we have already asked so much of our community, but we are here asking one more time, so we can celebrate and honor him properly when the time comes for a funeral. If you could please help by donating even the smallest amount and spreading the word, we would appreciate it more than anyone will ever know. The amount of love people have for this man has completely blown me away (but not really, because he's the best)! Please say a prayer for our Dad and for our family as we continue to navigate this awful disease and choose wisely where we spend our time. Thank you all for everything you have done and do. God bless.
