We are working on our renovation plan for Lake Foxcroft Park. Once I have an availability map for the Park, I will be able to show you your options of where placement of a bench can be. I am hoping that construction takes place in Summer of 2025. I will keep you apprised of the schedule. That is wonderful the community got together on this!- GLEN ELLYN Parks/Foxcroft

Some of Pat's favorite days were spent going for bike rides around Briarcliffe or walking Walter Matthau around Lake Foxcroft Park. She would stop and talk to everyone, especially Betty and Tom! Her daily walks with Walter not only helped her smile a little bit more, but they also kept her healthy and fit. Mom loved to walk, talk, and meet new people all the time!

This bench is not just for Pat; it is for all of you to enjoy—a place to take a break, think of a happy memory of Pat or a loved one, enjoy the view of the lake, take time for yourself like Pat did, and maybe meet a new friend. Walter knew the route and would always pull Pat to Betty's house, where he would receive a treat or two and often stay for hours.

We hope you will enjoy the walking path around the lake as much as Pat did, and now the bench is here for you to take a rest. Make sure you say hi to Betty and her many doggies, and you might see Tom walking Gibson.
