Nana Ofelia impacted all of our lives and we are better for it. She was the cornerstone of the Mendiola Family and she never denied family visits. If anything, she wanted us to visit more. Nana's house door was always open without knocking. She gave her essence and energy to us in the form of food, words, hugs, and laughter. She lived a long and beautiful life. Update 10/3/24- Total cost is looking around $9,000 but that's not including headstone, flowers, and potentially an after burial gathering at nanas house. We put a $2,000 deposit this morning towards it. Wake is 10/17 at 5-9pm and Burial is 10/18 at 11:45am. We owe roughly 3k for funeral and 4k for burial. Total $7k needed. We’ve raised $4k. So we need to raise 3k more, come on fam, we can reach it!
