As some of you guys know, my dad got diagnosed with early on-set dementia at the young age of 58! With many seizures, unknowns, set backs & health issues the last 8 years, we've managed to keep him home to care for him. Unfortunately in Oct of this year, (2025) he was diagnosed with Bone cancer that also spread to his eye causing it to bulge out of his eye socket! Due to his declining health, treatment of any kind isn't an option! & because of his health, life insurance was priced CRAZY for him so we never followed through with it. If you know my dad, you know he didn't have much back in his days, BUT still managed to Give everything! Even with his own issues & addiction, my mom tells me he always made sure I had what I needed growing up! He was always there helping whenever he could. He was at my house daily playing catch with me when I was younger & he was at EVERY softball game! He made sure to call me EVERY night to let me know he was ok! & Seeing my kids with him now IS EVERYTHING! & it breaks my heart that will eventually come to an end sooner than I hoped. He made my 18 year old French toast before school every morning when she was younger! He always says how handsome my 7 year old is and how much he looks like him when he was his age (the resemblance is crazy BTW lol) My 2 year old LOVES climbing on his pépés laps & always brings him cookies! My kids got so close to him which makes my heart soooo happy! but it CRUSHES me to know that's not forever!

Unfortunately today we put him on hospice.. I'm lucky enough to hopefully keep him home with us until it's his time. I know times are tough for everyone, especially around Christmas time. I'm looking for funds to have a small get together for the near future when god decides to call him home! I don't want to wait until "that day" & be stressed about it which is why I'm doing it now. Funds will be saved for his "celebration day".

My dad has helped me a lot when I was a single mother. He's brought so much happiness to our lives the last 8 years he's been with us. From his jokes, to his snuggles, laughs, memories ect. I want to have a nice little something for him. Anything is appreciated, even if it's just a SHARE!
