Hello all,

My name is McKenzie Harris Kanipe, and I am an alumna of TC Roberson High School. Over 20 years ago, Mrs. Aleisa Baker made a huge impact on my life in the musical theater program at Roberson. For almost 29 years, she has poured her heart and soul into the students in the theater, choir and the Advanced Ensemble program. After many years of dedication and hard work, Mrs. Baker has decided to retire at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. In honor of her, we, past and current students and families, would like to be able to give her two gifts. The first will be presented to her at the final show of the musical, "9 to 5," on Saturday, May 3. We would like to give her a cruise for she and her husband. The second will be given at the final spring choir showcase on Monday, May 19. We have hired a composer to commission a song just for her. We would then love to have current students and alumni learn the song and sing it for her at the spring concert. We would like to raise $15,000.00 to cover both the composer as well as the cruise and travel. Please share this with family and friends, but please keep it a secret!
