A Heroic Effort for Mike's Family

Hey, everyone! I'm reaching out today to ask for your help in giving one of my best friends, Mike Lepine, the sendoff they deserve. As you know, Mike was a true friend among us, always there with a smile and a helping hand. Unfortunately, he recently left us for a great colorful adventure beyond our world.

If you were blessed enough to know Mike, from the comic book world and the creator of the Last in the Stack competition, to his work as a hair colorist, to the many dance floors and fields he danced in, you know just how great this guy was. Maybe you had the opportunity to taste some of his delicious, creative and mind-blowing bakes. There are probably a million other ways you could have known Mike, but to know him was to love him.

Right now, his kids are feeling this loss in significant ways. Pinch just turned 18 and is embarking on his journey into college and driving. Grey is starting the 10th grade and about to turn 16. They were so used to their Papa being there everyday to share experiences and advice and now there is a hole in that space.

We are in the planning stages for a memorial to celebrate Mike's life and help educate others on the importance of regular heart and health screenings. We want to share his love of comics, hair color, music, baking, and all things MOKE. We want to hear your stories and share ours.
