My name is Liz Orazi. Mike Brindle was my very good friend and housemate. I miss him a great deal, and I am just trying to fund the cost of his cremation.
I met Mike Brindle about 16 years ago at an SCA event called Pennsic. He told great stories and was quite the jovial person to be around. He needed a place to live, and we had become good friends, so I invited him in as a housemate. About a year later, he had a very debilitating stroke and heart attack. It took him about 2 years to rebound, and he never recovered the use of his left arm, but he never let that stop him. He loved life. He loved gaming, and he enjoyed living with me and my dogs. He worked part-time at the local PetSmart, putting his all into his job. I live in a rural neighborhood, and he was always photographing the deer and rabbits that came into the yard. He hated that I was such a bah humbug type of person and enjoyed putting up any decorations I would allow. He adored watching anime and was definitely an adult cartoon fan.
I miss him greatly and my house is very quiet without him.
