We are the family of Michel Cuba. My father was a simple man who worked tirelessly his whole life to spoil our family. He never stopped working for us and always provided us with anything and everything. I understand you might not have known my father but allow me to introduce my father. He was a proud Cuban that came to this country with his family, with nothing but a dream. My father was in fragile health and fighting a chronic disease of type I Diabetes. Unfortunately, this health condition limited him from many things in his life. Although many people told him he was not going to live past 30 years of age or even bear his own children. I am so proud to say even in his short 45 years of life, he had a beautiful wife and three loving children. Please allow me to quote my mother, “It was a privilege to see him grow old at his age and see his canitas (gray hairs).” We share such beautiful memories and truly cherish the good and the bad. Just as my father was married into his own thoughts and ideas, he was always open to change. He never stopped evolving. And even at the very last moments of his life, he always expressed how much he loved, accepted, cared for, and cherished us.

May God guide and forever protect you, Papi. Rest in peace in God's divine kingdom. We kindly hope in your heart to receive your support, big or small. This good deed will allow us to send him off appropriately and give him the service and funeral that we believe my father always deserved. He will never have to worry about the everyday challenges any longer. My beautiful father will be missed incredibly. As an honorary American, he is still Cuban in his heart. VIVA CUBA LIBRE! Papi, we love you so much and all the family/friends/co-workers/even strangers are here showing us support and love. This is all for you. You are sincerely our eternal love.

Somos la familia de Michel Cuba. Mi padre era un hombre sencillo que trabajó incansablemente toda su vida para consentir a nuestra familia. Nunca dejó de trabajar para nosotros y siempre nos proveyó de todo. Se que quizás algunos no conozcan/conocieron a mi padre, pero permítanme presentarles a mi padre. El era un orgulloso cubano que llegó a este país con su familia, con nada más que sueños. Mi padre tenía una salud frágil y luchaba contra la enfermedad crónica de diabetes tipo 1. Desafortunadamente, esta condición de salud lo limitó en muchas cosas en su vida. Aunque muchas personas le dijeron que no viviría más allá de los 30 años o incluso que no tendría sus propios hijos. Estoy muy orgullosa de decir que en sus cortos 45 años de vida tuvo una hermosa esposa y tres hijos amorosos. Permítanme decir un dicho de mi madre: "Fue un privilegio verlo envejecer y a su edad ver sus canitas". Compartimos recuerdos hermosos y realmente apreciamos lo bueno y lo malo. Así como mi padre estaba establesido en sus propios pensamientos e ideas, siempre estuvo abierto al cambio. Nunca dejó de evolucionar. Incluso en los últimos momentos de su vida, nos cuido y siempre nos expresó cuánto nos amaba, aceptaba, apreciaba. Que Dios te guíe y te proteja por siempre, Papi. Descansa en paz en el reino divino de Dios. Esperamos de corazón recibir su apoyo, grande o pequeño. Esta buena acción nos permitirá darle un servicio y funeral que mi padre merece. Nunca más tendrá que preocuparse por los desafíos cotidianos. Extrañaremos muchísimo a mi hermoso padre. Como un honorable estadounidense, siguio siendo cubano en su corazón. ¡VIVA CUBA LIBRE! Papi, te amamos mucho y toda la familia, amigos, compañeros de trabajo e incluso extraños están aquí mostrándonos apoyo y amor. Todo esto es para ti. Sinceramente seras siempre nuestro amor eterno.
