In Loving Memory of Marilyn Lemke

March 1st, 1935 – September 30th, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we remember the life of Marilyn Lemke, who passed away on September 30th, 2025, at the age of 90.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, known for her compassion for animals and everlasting resilience.

Born on March 1st, 1935, in Queens, NY. Marilyn lived a life full of love. She had a heart that spoke the language of animals—quiet, kind, and full of understanding. Her love for them was not just felt; it was lived.

Marilyn Lemke is survived by her children, Dennis Lemke (Erica Lemke) Patrick Lemke (Joanne Lemke) , Kristina Brennan, Kurt Lemke, and Joy Giacopelli (Matthew Giacopelli), as well as her 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, at Nolan Funeral Home, from 3 PM to 7 PM. All who knew and loved Marilyn are welcome to attend and celebrate a life beautifully lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations that will be dispersed to the animal organizations listed below. Your support will help continue the kindness and care Marilyn gave so freely to all creatures, great and small.
