Celebrate Maggie's Life with Love and Faith

Con profunda tristeza — y con corazones humildes — compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestra amada madre, Maggie. Su partida fue inesperada y desgarradora, y aunque no estábamos listos para dejarla ir, sabemos que ahora descansa en la paz de Cristo.

Fue una mujer de fe inquebrantable, fortaleza y compasión, que tocó cada vida que cruzó su camino con gracia y ternura. Su presencia iluminaba cualquier lugar — no porque buscara atención, sino porque siempre daba todo de sí — a su familia, su iglesia, sus amistades y su comunidad.

Fue una madre entregada, una abuela amorosa, y una verdadera sierva de Dios. Ya fuera a través de una oración, un plato cocinado con amor, o actos silenciosos de generosidad que pocos conocían, ella vivió cada día con un corazón abierto hacia los demás. Su fe nunca titubeó — ni siquiera en los momentos más duros — y eso marcó todo lo que hacía. Daba más de lo que tenía, amaba con todo su ser, y creía en levantar a los demás, aún en medio de su propio dolor.

Ahora estamos organizando su celebración de vida en Orlando, Florida, donde pasó sus últimos días rodeada de sus hijos, nietos, familia extendida y muchísimos amigos. Después, cumpliremos su último deseo: ser enterrada en su tierra natal, Puerto Rico, en el Cementerio Nacional de Morovis, con la dignidad y el honor que merece.

En medio de este momento difícil, si sientes en tu corazón el deseo de ayudar, te agradeceremos profundamente cualquier aportación que puedas hacer para cubrir los gastos de su funeral y entierro. Tu apoyo nos permitirá darle una despedida hermosa que refleje su vida y su espíritu, y sepultarla en la tierra de la isla que tanto amó.

Si conociste a nuestra mamá — aunque fuera solo una vez — probablemente sentiste su calidez, su risa, su fe o su fortaleza. Si alguna vez la llamaste “mami,” “titi,” “hermana,” “amiga,” o simplemente viste su sonrisa, sabes el tipo de mujer con la que Dios nos bendijo.

Sabemos que muchos quieren mostrar su cariño con flores, y eso nos conmueve mucho. Pero como sera enterrada lejos de aquí, la ofrenda económica en este momento seria una bendición aun mayor.

With deep sadness — and humble hearts — we share the passing of our beloved mother, Maggie. Her departure was sudden and heartbreaking, and although we were not ready to let her go, we know she is now resting in the peace of Christ.

She was a woman of unwavering faith, strength, and compassion, who touched every life she encountered with grace and tenderness. Her presence lit up every space — not because she sought attention, but because she always gave all of herself — to her family, her church, her friends, and her community.

She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and a true servant of God. Whether through prayer, a home-cooked meal, or quiet acts of generosity that few ever knew about, she lived every day with a heart open to others. Her faith never wavered — not even in the hardest moments — and it shaped everything she did. She gave more than she had, loved with all that she was, and believed in lifting others up, even in the midst of her own pain.

We are now preparing her celebration of life in Orlando, Florida, where she spent her final days surrounded by her children, grandchildren, extended family and so many friends. Afterward, we will fulfill her final wish: to be buried in her homeland, Puerto Rico, at the Morovis National Cemetery, with the dignity and honor she deserves.
