Celebrate Maggie Watts' Decade of Dedication

Maggie has accepted a position with the USGA in its championship rules group, and will be leaving us in mid-June after a decade leading the Women’s Fourball Tournaments. We would love to “shower her with gratitude,” and with your help, we can make that happen!

Maggie Watts joined the CGA staff in December 2015 as the Director of Women’s Golf. Previously, Watts worked as a Tournament Manager for the Virginia State Golf Association, focusing on championship administration. Her career in golf administration started with a summer operations internship with the American Junior Golf Association in 2013. Watts also worked at her home country club for almost 10 years, doing everything from working in the Pro Shop to mowing greens.
Watts played college golf at Radford University in Radford, Virginia and received a B.S. in History from RU in 2010. In 2013, she earned a Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Eastern Kentucky University.

Watts is married and resides in Holly Springs, N.C. She is an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan and enjoys spending time with family.
