Our hearts are broken to share that my mom, Lisa Marie Hall (59, of Painted Post, NY), passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2025, after a sudden and devastating illness.

Lisa worked for Tompkins County for over 30 years and later started a business dedicated to helping families handle the details of their loved ones’ estates with compassion and care. Her father nicknamed her “Sunshine,” and she truly lived up to it — brightening the lives of everyone who knew her.

She was the most generous person I knew, a woman of deep faith, and the heart of our family. Nothing made her happier than her two children, Lucas and Jennifer, and especially her grandson, Charlie, who she loved beyond words.

This sudden loss has left our family heartbroken and facing unexpected expenses. We are asking for help to cover her final medical bills and to plan a beautiful celebration of life to honor her memory.
