Lily’s 2nd Birthday Mission

Hi everyone, I’m Kaniz — Lily’s mom.

On March 20th, Lily turns 2 years old, and instead of celebrating with gifts, Lily has decided she wants to do something special for dogs who are still waiting for their forever homes.

Lily is a happy, goofy little pup who fills my life with joy every single day. She has a warm bed, toys scattered all over the apartment, and more love than she probably knows what to do with. But not every dog is that lucky.

So this year, Lily has a birthday wish. Instead of presents, Lily is asking friends, family, and fellow animal lovers to donate to help her furry friends at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter. Every dollar raised will help provide care, safety, and comfort to animals who are waiting for their second chance at a loving home.

Why Somerset Regional Animal Shelter?

The Friends of Somerset Regional Animal Shelter (FOSRAS) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to ensure animals at the shelter are safe and receive the care and love they need while waiting for adoption.

The shelter cares for over 1,000 lost, abandoned, and surrendered animals each year from Bridgewater, Manville, and Branchburg, NJ. Thanks to community support, they have expanded adoption programs and built rescue partnerships to help animals from overcrowded shelters, disaster areas, and hoarding cases.
