Celebrate Leslie Warfield's life and the Submarina Legacy.

As many of you know, founder of Submarina Leslie Warfield, passed away on March 21, 2025. He was a very special mentor and friend to many people in Escondido and Poway known for the best sandwiches at Submarina. Although he was living and passed away in Ridgecrest, his home and his people were here, in San Diego. We are asking for help to celebrate his life for all the people that knew and loved him here. He was a generous man and he loved being behind that slicer making the best sandwiches for generations of faithful customers. Everyone knew him as the guy with the red Porsche that loved the Yankees. If you knew my dad you know! He was a part of Escondido history. We would like to have a beautiful celebration on June 7th at Felecita Park. Unfortunately the cost of his funeral costs and medical bills have left us unable to honor him in the way he deserved and without asking for help it would be impossible.It would mean the world to us if you could share my Daddy, Les Warfields, fundraiser with everybody so we can all honor and give him the amazing send off to show him how proud and grateful we were for his legacy and humble heart. Any extra funds will go to his loving wife , Lynn Warfield to help with living expenses moving forward. Thank you everyone ,anything will help.
