Help Celebrate Lauren’s Life and Legacy

It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Lauren—a woman with the biggest heart and a light that touched everyone who knew her. To know Lauren was to love her. She brought laughter, love, and strength into the lives of her friends, family, and animals.

Lauren had three great loves in her life:

Her life partner of 11 years, Michael

Her beloved “mini farm” of animals (two dogs, two bunnies, and a tortoise)

️️ And dirt bike riding, which gave her joy and freedom

Her Brave Battle

In March of this year, Lauren began experiencing severe leg pain that kept her from riding and running with her pups. Doctors soon discovered blood clots—first in her leg, then in her heart. Just a week later, she received the life-altering diagnosis of stage 4 ovarian cancer.

Lauren immediately began chemotherapy and underwent surgery in the months that followed. Through every challenge, she showed courage and grace, never losing her fighting spirit. Sadly, in mid-September, her cancer had spread to two more organs. Doctors made the heartbreaking decision to stop all treatment. A week later, Lauren suffered a stroke and was sent home on hospice care.

On September 29th, Lauren passed away peacefully, surrounded by love. She is now reunited with her dad, her grandma, and her cherished dog Shelby.
