Celebrate Kyle Berceau's Legacy at Thornwood Park

The Friends and Family of Kyle Berceau are partnering with the Wilmette Baseball Association to raise funds for a bench and plaque at Thornwood Park to honor the memory of Kyle Berceau, a beloved WBA alum and Travel Team coach who passed away last March. From 2008 to 2019, Kyle coached WBA Travel Teams at multiple age levels, including U9, U10 and U11. His dedication, enthusiasm and love-of-the-game inspired players and parents alike, making him a wonderful ambassador for both baseball and the WBA. The bench and plaque will be especially meaningful to Kyle’s family, as Marilyn Berceau explains in the video below.

Our goal is to raise at least $5,000, which the Park District requires as a maintenance fee for the new bench and plaque, with any additional funds being contributed to the Wilmette Baseball Scholarship fund in Kyle's name. Please consider making a donation to honor Kyle’s memory.

A dedication and softball game in Kyle's memory will take place this summer at Thornwood Park. Details will be shared shortly.
