Celebrate Kelly Messinger's retirement: Donate to Dogs!

This donation is to be made in honor of Kelly Messinger, who is retiring this year from Capital University this year. For 30 years, Kelly has served as a professor of journalism and advisor for the Chimes, Capital University's award winning student newspaper. Kelly has been an amazing mentor for so many students throughout her years. She has been kind, caring, patient, blunt, fierce and strong. Kelly is always her students' greatest champion. She allows her students to learn and make mistakes on their own, and she is there to tell them what went wrong and how to fix it. Kelly is dedicated to upholding a high standard for her students, pushing them to be better.

Throughout her time as professor, Kelly has also worked hard to help dogs with Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati and has fostered several dogs. She cares deeply and this donation in her name serves to honor her care for the furry friends she has made throughout her journey.
