We gather here today not only to mourn the loss of Keith Edwards, also know as KDK, The Fire, Key, Keith Da Kid, but also to celebrate his life, his kindness, and his enduring legacy. While his passing has left an unfillable void in our hearts, it’s important to remember the ways in which Keith touched the lives of those around him.
In his final moments, Keith once again demonstrated that creativity writing and making music to express himself. Even though his cause of passing remains unknown, It’s a powerful reminder that in life and in death, we have the ability to make a difference. Keith has made the world a better place, not just through his everyday acts of love and kindness, but in the ultimate act of giving advice and encouragement.
Throughout his life, Keith was a generous soul. Whether it was lending a hand to a friend in need, offering a shoulder to lean on, or giving his time and energy to causes that were dear to his heart, his generosity knew no bounds. His compassion, humility, and the way he would put others before himself are things we will always remember. So today, let us honor Keith not only with our tears, but with gratitude — for the love he gave us, for the joy he brought into our lives, and for the hope he has given to others. His story is not over; it is now part of the stories of the many people he’s touched. We love you, Keith, and we are so proud of you for everything you were and everything you have given to the world.
