After 33 years at St. David’s and nearly five decades of teaching and coaching, my dad, Jose Cornejo, is retiring.

Anyone who knows him knows the incredible impact he has had on so many students, athletes, families, and friends over the course of his career. He has given so much of himself to others, and we want to celebrate him with a retirement gift that reflects just how meaningful his legacy truly is.

No gift could ever fully repay him for all he has done, but soccer has always been at the heart of our family and has shaped so much of our lives. That is why we are hoping to surprise him with something unforgettable: tickets to the World Cup this summer in Miami to watch Colombia vs. Portugal.

Our plan is to present this gift to him at his retirement celebration as a tribute from the many people whose lives he has touched throughout his legendary career.
