Joey was a warrior without compare! He has finished his valiantly fought battle victorious! On February 21st, at 7:10 pm, following a beautiful sun-filled day spent with one another, I kissed my beloved's face and whispered in his ear: "Sleep now, baby, and have beautiful dreams." Moments later, I watched him peacefully breathe his last breath and stood sentinel at his side, witnessing his heart's final beat.
Joey remains eternally a magnificent husband, father, and grandfather to me, Daniel (son), Reina (daughter-in-law), Aysha (daughter), and the grands: Noah, DJ, Silas, and Cece (and to those yet to be). He is a phenomenal brother, cousin, and friend.
Joe was and will always be unapologetically Joe. Forever faithful, loyal, loving, and steadfast in his morals and beliefs.
It is my most fervent desire to uphold all of his final wishes, and that begins here with the arrangement of how he wanted to be memorialized.
Our battle was long fought, and I would do it all again.
Please help if you can.
With peace and love,
Joey's little (but mighty) tribe
