Celebrate Jim Jimenez's Life and Legacy
Donation protected
We are deeply saddened by the passing of James “Jaime” Jimenez, a retired U.S. Forest Service Hotshot, devoted family man, and friend to all who knew him. Jim dedicated 35 years of his life to the Forest Service, with 23 years spent as the Superintendent of the Lassen Interagency Hotshots. However, his impact extended far beyond his firefighting duties. He was a reliable and compassionate person, always ready to lend a helping hand, whether it was leading a crew through treacherous terrain or assisting a neighbor in need.
To honor Jim’s memory and bring together those who knew and loved him, we are organizing a Celebration of Life service. Details about this event can be found at:
We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to support Jim’s wife, Narda Jimenez, during this difficult time. The funds raised will help cover the expenses of the Celebration of Life service and funeral arrangements. In honor of Jim’s legacy, a portion of the funds will be donated to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation and the US Hotshots Association. Even if you cannot contribute financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser or joining us at the celebration.
Let us come together to share Jim’s remarkable story, cherish his incredible life, and send him off with the respect and love he showed us every day.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Jimenez Family
