Celebrating Jesse Wood — A Life Full of Love, Laughter, and Beats
On April 23, 2025, we lost Jesse Wood — a son, a brother, and a friend to so many. His passing leaves a space that can never be filled, especially for his mom, Jane, and his brother, Ryan. Jesse wasn’t just family — he was family. The kind you laugh with, lean on, and love for life.
To Jane, Jesse was everything — her joy, her protector, her son. Not some polished version of a person, but her real Jesse: funny, creative, thoughtful — and yes, sometimes loud and a little annoying in the most lovable way. He left dishes in the sink, pushed her buttons, made her laugh when she didn’t want to, and filled the house with life.
And the music… Jesse would swear he wasn’t loud — but everyone knew better. As Jane tells it:
“He’d turn that bass up little by little, swearing it wasn’t loud — until my pictures were rattling on the wall. I’d bang the floor with my feet, and he’d turn it down… just for a second. Then back up it went. All night long! ”
That was Jesse. A DJ, a carpenter, a creator. He didn’t just play music — he was music. He built with his hands, moved with rhythm, and brought soul into everything he touched.
As a brother to Ryan, Jesse was loyal, steady, and full of heart. Their bond was built on shared memories, inside jokes, and that wordless kind of love that lasts a lifetime. And as a son, Jesse watched over Jane with strength, humor, and devotion.
One of the truest parts of Jesse's spirit was his quiet way of caring. He was a dad to his beloved dog, Neo, who never left his side, and had a bird named Buddy — more companion than pet. That was Jesse — perfectly imperfect, full of heart, and always showing up in his own way.

We’re raising funds to help Jane and Ryan create a day that reflects who Jesse truly was — not a quiet goodbye, but a gathering filled with music, laughter, stories, and the deep love he gave so freely.
Every donation will go toward honoring Jesse’s life and easing the weight on Jane and Ryan as they face this unimaginable loss. Whether you can give or simply share, your support means the world.
Let’s remember Jesse not just with sadness, but with the same joy, humor, music, and heart he gave to everyone lucky enough to know him.
Thank you for being part of his story.
