Celebrate Jesse Anderson Sr.'s Legacy with Support

Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Jesse Anderson, Sr.

Jesse was a cherished son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather whose love and kind spirit touched the lives of all who were blessed to know him.

Jesse was known for his complete love for God, his devotion to his "baby" (Alice), and his family, and of course, his kind and generous heart. He had a unique way of making everyone feel welcomed and comfortable in his presence. His special saying (YO!), his talents as a musician, his numerous involvements in bands around San Diego (notably Devotion) are just a few of the many ways he left his mark in this world.

Jesse was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September of 2024. Throughout his battle, his unwavering faith in God remained his source of strength and hope. Though his initial prognosis was 3-5 years, his time was tragically cut short to just seven months, and on Friday, April 4, 2025, he was called home to be with his Lord and Savior. Sadly, he did not have the time he hoped for to complete his affairs.

We are raising funds to help cover the medical expenses, funeral costs, support for dear Alice, and a legacy project in Jesse's honor.

Jesse was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand, an ear to listen, prayers (his prayers were powerful), music to warm our hearts, or a toast with a tequila shot! His warm and inviting smile was always so comforting. He never hesitated to help those of us in need! Jesse was a founding member of the You've Got a Friend Project (started when a friend was diagnosed with congestive heart failure) and was so generous, supportive, and dedicated with his time and resources. This was just one example of how Jesse gave so much of himself to others. He helped and supported so many of us in numerous ways.

We humbly ask for your support and thank you in advance for any contributions. We want to honor Jesse and celebrate the beautiful person he was. His memory will live on. God Bless.
