Help Us Honor Jaqua’s Life and Legacy

My beloved grandma Jaqua was taken from us too soon. She was battling dementia and a broken heart following the loss of her brother and mother. She had so much more life to live, and unfortunately, she didn’t get a chance to fulfill the plans she had. However, she did live the life that she wanted, and you couldn’t tell her otherwise. She loved her friends hard, and her family even harder. She did hair for 50+ years — it was her passion and what made her happy. Jaqua was someone who was hard not to like when you met her. Her laugh was so genuine, it always matched her smile. If you needed someone to talk to or gossip with, she was your girl.

I'm taking her death really hard. She was my favorite person — she helped raise me and gave me the best memories I could ask for. Now it is my time to take care of her and lay her to rest. We’re raising $3,000 to cover her cremation and final expenses. Anything you can give — or even just sharing this — would mean so much to our family.

I will be handling the funds directly, not Marc, so I can make sure every cent goes to the right thing and my grandma is taken care of. As more arrangements are made, I will be sure to share any new plans and additional information with everyone.
