We’re working to establish a Bol Park memorial bench plaque in Gwen Luce’s honor, in conjunction with the City of Palo Alto’s program. Gwen relished her daily strolls through Bol Park to visit the donkeys, the native plant garden, and her wonderful neighbors!

Our amazing and much beloved mother, Gwen, was an active supporter of the Barron Park community for over 35 years. She was a generous resource to any and all who needed help, be it a home inspection or a Thanksgiving meal. She served on the BPA Board for many years and loved volunteering at neighborhood events, even in her later days. Gwen was actually nicknamed “The Queen of Barron Park” for her prolific real estate career and volunteer work in her own special neighborhood. Her determination and perseverance were inspiring, as was her commitment to the highest ethical standards and empowering the greater good. She is profoundly missed by so many, but we’ll carry her joyful, generous, indomitable spirit in our hearts forever. We appreciate your help completing this memorial project in one of Mom’s favorite places.
