We are the Sonoma State University Nursing Class of 2025, and after years of intense study, clinical rotations, and personal sacrifice, we are finally preparing to graduate! Before we officially enter the nursing profession, there’s one meaningful tradition we’re hoping to celebrate together—our pinning ceremony.

The pinning ceremony is more than just an event—it’s a powerful symbol of the transition from nursing student to professional nurse. It honors the journey we’ve taken, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the commitment we’re making to serve others with skill, compassion, and integrity.

Unfortunately, organizing this special event comes with costs that can be a burden for many of us. That’s where we need your help.

We are raising funds to help pay for:

• A venue that can accommodate our classmates and families

• Food and drinks to celebrate with those who’ve supported us along the way

• Decorations and materials to make it a memorable experience

• A photographer!

We’re asking our friends, family, local businesses, and anyone who supports the future of nursing to consider donating to help us create this unforgettable moment. No amount is too small, and all funds will go directly toward our ceremony. Also, any money leftover that isn’t spent, will be given to the class of 2026, to help with their Pinning Ceremony. Even if you’d like to contribute in other ways—like donating food, drinks, supplies, or services—we would be so grateful!

This ceremony is not just a celebration—it’s a symbol of the caring, hardworking nurses we’ve become, and the community that helped get us here.
