Celebrate Frank's Life: Support His Loved Ones

We're raising funds on behalf of our father, brother, uncle and dear friend Frank. We lost him on Monday, May 26th, while backpacking in Yosemite. It was a sudden and heartbreaking passing. He left behind two children who he loved and adored. We're still trying to come to terms with this tragic loss. We hope you can help support funeral and memorial expenses to give Frank a peaceful farewell.

He was a kind soul who was always looking out for others and living life to the fullest.

Those who have passed and come back from the experience often describe seeing all their memories flash before them and they felt a sense of peace. We imagine Frank's last moments were filled with scenic photos of all the mountain ranges he backpacked, raising and spending time with his kids, and hanging around the campfire cooking for friends and family.

For those that don't know him well, he was such a fun and silly person.

We have countless memories laughing at random jokes, and one of our favorites was during our hikes whenever something intense or unexpected would happen, Frank would yell, "Surprise!" Even when we were angry, upset, tired, or all of the above, it would always put a smile on our faces.

He would always head out for the weekend before us, and when we'd catch up the next day, all we had to do to find him in the woods was "follow the smoke".

For Frank, there was no camping without a nice fire, delicious food, and a six-pack of beer to enjoy moments and cheer to life.

We promise you we will keep "following the smoke", and we are sure that one day we'll see you again beyond the smoke, there by the fire, grilling a perfect steak for us, and we will cheer, together, again.

There was never a dull moment with you, Frank. We love you and will forever keep you in our hearts.

A visitation for Franklin will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, 23287 North Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321.
