The community graduation celebration was created to celebrate the accomplishments of students who do not have access to a graduation ceremony of their own. This includes students who are home-schooled and completed the necessary requirements but are not part of a community to honor their accomplishments; students who have completed their GED and would like to celebrate their accomplishments; and students who have met the requirements to graduate but are being excluded from their school's graduation ceremony (usually due to learning disabilities).

Any funds raised beyond what is needed for the infrastructure of the event will go to gifts for the graduates. This graduation ceremony is run completely by donations and volunteers. 100% of the funds raised go into making the graduation ceremony special for the graduates and their families.
