For those of you who haven't heard
We had something happen in our family. Sunday night aimi started having fevers and flu like symptoms. On Friday morning at 5am she stared having what felt like contractions. When she stood up she realized her water had broken, then the contractions got worse. She went to the hospital to confirm labor. The baby was not old enough to survive outside of her body so she didn't make it. Aimi suffered bad infection from the process and had to deliver with no epidural. She lost a lot of blood and her veins started collapsing. She's done one round of blood transfusions so far but it's very painful because her veins are so thin. Fortunately, she's starting to feel better.
Jeff and aimi have named our angel Elizabeth. The theme of her nursery was going to be wanderlust and adventure because they wanted her to know from the very first second she was born that the world was bigger than just Antioch. That she could go anywhere and be anything. Because of this, they have decided to memorialize her by taking her to the most beautiful place they can afford to at least show her one of those beautiful things in the world her mommy had dreamed of one day showing her.
Aimi doesn't want to talk to anyone about it right now and does not feel up to answering texts or calls. If anyone has questions or comments or just wants to pass along something comforting please direct them to myself, my dad Tim or my mom Patti
Thank you for your support. Aimi's medical expenses are going to be very high as well as costs for memorial efforts. We have set up a go fund me account to help her and Jeff out. If you'd like to donate, any amount would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
