Celebrate Efrain Gonzalez's Legacy with Love
Donation protected
Efrain Gonzalez was born on September 21st, 1959, to Carmen & Jose Gonzalez. Efrain later became a brother to 10 siblings. In 1980, he met the love of his life, Janina Cosio. By 1981, they began to grow their family. Efrain had a passion all his life for low riders & its culture. In 1983, he married Janina and gave his life to God, not knowing it would change his whole family’s life as well. Ten years later, in 1993, Efrain & Janina were expecting their last child together of 5. It was that same year he was given the opportunity to launch out to Kansas City to pastor a church. Instead of moving his wife & children, Efrain made it his mission to eventually move his entire family to the Midwest. Throughout his years here in Kansas City, Efrain’s family grew even bigger. From preaching the word of God, to playing handball, hosting car shows, amongst other bonds & relationships. Efrain Gonzalez passed away Wednesday, August 28th, 2024. Efrain was survived by five children and thirteen grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, September 6th. The viewing will be held at The Cure Church at 3650 N 67th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66104 @ 10 A.M. The burial will be held afterwards at Mt. Washington Cemetery at 614 S. Brookside Avenue, Independence, MO 64053.
