Hi - My name is Thinh. I am an admin of a Pokemon Group called Gengar's Card Room, a group that was loved by EDPJ and revered him in return.
Personally, I didn't know EDPJ and unfortunately never had any meaningful interactions with him since I recently joined. But from what I've heard, he was a great man! One that impacted the lives of many in the group. He undoubtedly left memorable moments in the minds of those blessed to have called him a friend. With the deepest sympathies, I am sorry to hear of his passing.
Undoubtedly, EDPJ had a positive effect on the group from the moment he joined as one of its original members. Even after his passing, he is still affecting the group he loved by bringing us all together. Yes, the circumstances are not what we wanted, but reading all the comments about how amazing he was and the stories that everyone is sharing about him really resonated with what he truly meant to the community. It is individuals like EDPJ that make me truly proud to be a part of this group. It's really bigger than Poker or Pokemon... it is (as cliche as this sounds)... Family; and EDPJ is that.
We are heartbroken, but through this tough time, we have already gotten closer, reinforcing our bonds as a group. Thank you to those who shared and to all the support shown. Naturally, we are grieving, but more importantly, we are celebrating EDPJ's legacy.
With that in mind, we are raising funds to support his wife with medical bills, funeral costs, and other financial burdens. If you are able to help out in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you & God Bless.
