Hello, my name is Clayton. I am sharing this to all on the sudden and tragic passing of my dad Daniel on Sunday, March 30th alongside his close family. Recently, he became very ill despite the brief fight with health issues. He was a beloved son, father, uncle, father-in-law, grandfather, and coach. Some hobbies he enjoyed were driving trips to Vegas and Fresno watching horse racing, boxing, classic cars, western movies, listening to classic rock & roll along with music icons of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, fishing, watching teams of the Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco Giants, and Los Angeles Angels. Also, he was very knowledgeable and passionate on sports history often mentioning player’s stats and team history. Though born in East Los Angeles, Daniel did not grow up a Dodgers fan. However, one fascinating fact about him was when attending Dodger Stadium being able to name all retired numbers of Dodger legends.
Known as a hardworking man, he held various security positions throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties as campus security, hospital security guard, and guard for the VC Fairgrounds. He greatly impacted all walks of life for which was determined towards making a difference within the communities he served. Once retired Daniel looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren, along with his casual trips to Las Vegas. On behalf of my family and friends, those who would like to donate can do so, as all proceeds will be towards my dad’s services. Any questions, feel free to contact me or my brother Josh. Anything will be greatly appreciated for my family as we deal with the loss of such a special person. Thank you❤️.
