After 2 years of being cancer free from esophageal cancer, it came back very aggressively in his bone marrow. Over the last month, his health took a drastic turn that left us unprepared. His body started attacking itself which ultimately lead to heart failure. Yesterday, he took our hearts with him when he left. Dad was the light in all our lives. He lived to make sure everyone around him was okay and felt loved.
