Curtis (Bishop) Dorsey, was a highly respected and beloved member of our YMCA, Moulton Elementary , and Laguna Niguel community. Curtis passed away on January 13, 2025, and his loss has deeply affected his family, and all of us at the school, YMCA, the staff, the students, and our families.

Curtis was all heart and invested himself in caring about every person in our Moulton family. He recognized each of our children for their individuality and lifted up each one of them to celebrate their uniqueness. Most importantly, Curtis was a dedicated partner to Anbar and a loving, devoted father to young Zoran, both members of our Moulton Elementary family.

Curtis was a friend, mentor, leader, and source of kindness and positivity for our kids and community. He shared his passion for sports and music with our kids leaving a lasting impact on them.

We are raising funds to support his celebration of life memorial service, and support the future and education of his beloved son Zoran.

Curtis was a great man, partner, father, coach, teacher, mentor, friend, and so much more for our community. He will be greatly missed.
